The true value of this writing camp is the guided writing practice during the live class. Therefore, homework is generally not assigned. However, if parents wish for their learners to have homework, Ms. Price will assign homework that is an extension of what we work on in class. Many neurodivergent learners find my one-on-one classes to be very supportive! I currently am working with learners with 2E, Gifted & Talented, Autistic, Dyslexic, and ADHD learners. I use a strengths-based approach with all learners.
Something to write with and something to write on! For younger kiddos, writing with markers or colored pencils makes writing more fun! Some older learners prefer to type out their writing rather than writing by hand, and this is totally fine with me!
