In this new class for Fall, students will learn how to write personal narratives for first grade. Students will begin this class with learning how to write a small moment story.
The students will write about the stories of their lives with detailed events. They will brainstorm ideas for their stories and add colorful illustrations in their booklets.
I will begin each class with a mini lesson focusing on specific writing topics. The students will then work on each topic taught in...8 lessons//8 Weeks

- Students will generate a topic that is relevant to their lives and write about a narrative booklet.
I have taught writing for over twenty-five years in kindergarten , first, and second grade. I have received training from Columbia University Teachers College in Writers Workshop. I have tutored writing virtually for five years.
Assessment
