宿題:
週1時間. Homework is negotiable. Generally, I assign reading homework and expect learners to write at least one page between meetings. However, the amount of reading and time spent writing between meetings depends on the learner's schedule, age, and goals. The time spent outside class might be just 15 minutes per week or up to 4 hours.テスト
I provide written and verbal feedback on the student's weekly creative writing submission(s). Written feedback is sent through Outschool messages and classroom page. A letter grade is optional. Parent/Caregiver updates on student's progress are sent out 1x a month.評価

What's my teaching style? Encouraging! I believe students learn best when they feel capable, engaged, and comfortable with the instructor. I quickly establish a positive dynamic with students, using my enthusiasm for creative writing and literature, as well as my sense of humor, warm demeanor, and professional listening and coaching skills. During our 1:1 time and through the classroom page, I'll share my experiences as a writer and editor, from attending my first writers' conference in fourth grade to phoning my favorite author in sixth grade, from getting my first publication to my present-day publications & professional roles. What previous experience is necessary? Students should read and write in English well enough to be understood.
