As a teacher with a degree in creative writing and experience as a manuscript editor, I am able to provide specialized guidance to your students. I look forward to our future sessions and am excited to see their continued progress and love for creative writing!

We will be focusing on the process of writing a book, which can indeed be a daunting task! However, your student will learn how to break it down into manageable parts. We'll spend our time working on creating compelling plots, crafting descriptive settings, and developing strong characters. These are all essential elements of a good story!

In addition to writing, we'll also practice editing and revising skills in each class. This is a crucial part of the writing process where your student can learn to view their work critically and make necessary improvements.

We'll also be reading little bits of work from other great authors. This is an excellent way for your child to learn different writing styles and techniques, gain a broader perspective on writing, and learn to appreciate the craft in its many forms. This exposure to various authors helps enrich their own writing style and voice. 

My goal is that they are not only learning the technical aspects of writing but also developing a love for storytelling! :)
