Students will improve their understanding of the five themes of geography (location, place, region, human-environment interaction, and movement).

I have over twenty years experience working with and teaching students.  I have a bachelor's degree in both History and Economics.  My master's degree is in Higher Education.  I also have a juris doctorate degree in Law.  Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching, history in particular!

Each week students will receive three to five lessons in the Outschool classroom.  

There will be three projects throughout the course of the semester that students will complete individually.  Projects will be based around a geographic theme chosen by the teacher.  Students can then pick from a list of projects or decide to do a self-chosen project that has been approved by the teacher.

Students and parents will receive a written report of the student's progress every four weeks.  If a grade is needed for a transcript, let the teacher know in advance, and a grade will be given for the student.
