In this creative class, your learner will get to know the artist Emil Nolde and create a watercolor flower painting based on his art! Emil Nolde was an Expressionist artist - we will explore what this type of art is and how he created it. We will create our own watercolor flowers using watercolor paper and watercolor paints. This is a perfect way for your artist to express their feelings through art. We will talk about different watercolor techniques and how to blend colors. There will be many opportunities for interaction in this class and we will show each other our art at the end of class! Hi! My name is Jana Glosson and my passion is teaching children! I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas and am certified to teach EC-6 in Texas. I have over 5 years experience teaching in public and private schools, teaching all ages from Early Childhood through 6th grade. I also have 2 years of online teaching experience. I enjoy scrapbooking, painting, sewing, quilting, cross stitching, card-making, mixed media and most of all, teaching! Before getting my teaching certification, I owned a scrapbooking store in Texas and created and taught hundreds of fun and creative classes.
