Forest Wizards, Mythical Wizards, Mages, Magicians, Warlocks! In this class, we will work together to learn the steps needed to create each portion of our adorable miniature Wizards. Different camera views will be used to show each step of the way. We will condition, cut, roll and form our pieces. Then we will assemble our body parts and get them prepared to be baked after class is over. The supplies are listed below and are necessary to complete the project. I will go over how to lacquer the clay after baking if the students want a professional, glossy finished look. Students may personalize their wizards with accessories, gems, beads, etc! Other Courses in this Collection: *Design and Build Your Own Sleeping Dragon Sculpture! - Polymer Clay Miniatures *Wings of Fire Design & Build Your Standing Dragon: Polymer Clay: Intermediate *Build Your Dragon's Egg! : Polymer Clay Baked Sculpture *Magical Wizard Fairy Cosplay Wands: Baked Polymer Clay Sculpted Wands **Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally 275 °F/135 °C, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary. Supplies Necessary for this project: Polymer Clay (any brand you prefer, for reference I use Sculpey III) Basic Sculpting tools A Baking sheet covered with parchment paper A cutting tool (can be flat spatula, clay knife, anything that you are comfortable with using) A non stick surface to work on (You can cover a piece of cardboard with parchment paper and tape it to the bottom…that works) A small rolling pin or paintbrush handle or anything smooth to roll out small pieces of clay. Variety of colors of polymer clay (skin tone, white, plus any colors you choose) Any GLASS beads or crystals that you wish to add. No plastic beads, they cannot be baked. Toothpick or Jewelry pin/wire for staff OPTIONAL: Clear Polyurethane or glaze for after baking

*Lori King (Ms. Lori - She/Her) is a graduate of F.I.T in NYC. She worked in different areas of the design industry since 1991, from illustration, pattern making, garment construction to designing full story boards for buyers. She tutors Fashion Illustration to help other students complete their professional portfolios before their interviews. Lori is also a Polymer Clay artist, Graphic Designer and Illustrator.

*M Hopkins (Teacher M - They/Them) is a professional, published artist who creates comics and illustrations with a love for color theory.

*Appiffany Joiner-McNeil (Mrs. Appiffany or Mrs. AJ - She/Her) Graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology, Cum Laude. She holds a Masters of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Teaching.
She brings STEM and psychology to the platform, with science projects, labs, and experiments.
As a member of the Society for Science, she will further extend students' curiosity into the STEM field without the restrictions of specific curriculums.
