Are you ready to discover a Wonderful Woman of the World? In this series, students will draw a wonderful woman as a way to celebrate Women’s History. This class offers an opportunity to celebrate, appreciate and understand the contributions of women in society. In each class, students will learn about a wonderful woman as well as draw an image that could be used for a public mural. Students of different drawing abilities are able to enjoy this class as we will use shapes and lines. Kamala Harris is the first female, first Black and first Asian-American Vice President of the United States. The class will begin with a 10-minute introduction of VP Harris; students will learn key words to describe this wonderful woman. Next, we will draw a mural idea to highlight some of the words. By the end of the class, students will have a beautiful drawing of Wonderful Woman of the World. As the teacher, I will guide students to create a drawing that the students likes.
