In this book adventure, we will explore one of  NY Times bestselling children's novel "Wish Tree" by Katherine Applegate.  This adventure will have your students looking for "golden lines", creating hands-on projects, sharing thoughts, and entering critical thinking skills in live class discussions.  Students will need their own copy of the book, a great imagination, and a sense of humor.  

Question and answer time will be facilitated at every meeting and students are encouraged to participate in the live book discussion.  Each week a reading portion will be assigned.   Students will keep a Wish Tree notebook to record vocabulary words with definitions, answer the question of the week, and record golden lines.  Hands-on related projects will also be assigned for homework.
