In this one time Winter themed phonics class, your child will use their knowledge of letters and their sounds to help them read short vowel words (CVC) by playing a Winter short vowel word phonics bingo! This class is great for learners who are in Kindergarten or First Grade. A printer will be needed to print the bingo game board (choice of snowman or gingerbread man design). Students should have some practice reading short vowel words (ex: shop, box, gift, dog, etc). Sample Class Structure: 1. Letter-Sound Recognition warmup 2. Reading Words warm up - We will practice how to segment (sound out) and blend sounds in short vowel words. Ex: c-a-t -> cat 4. Game time!

受講に必要なもの
A phonics bingo game board will be sent to families to print before class. Students can use a marker or some type of counter (beans, coins, etc) to cover up the words.
