このクラスで学べること
Class will start with introductions and questions to get to know each other better. Students will then create artwork inspired by snowy winter landscapes. We will use paper collage techniques with tissue paper and construction paper to create our mixed media artwork. Not only will we make art about winter, but we will also introduced to the elements of art and other important art concepts. The lesson will be taught in a directed drawing style to aid those who are not confident in their skills...
Students will practice cutting, pasting, painting, and drawing to help develop fine motor skills. Students will continue to develop skills in artistic expression and artistic decision making.
The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!

Students must be comfortable with scissors. If not, they will need parental assistance.
