Working in a modern zoo like the San Diego Zoo or an aquarium like the Georgia Aquarium takes more than just a love for animals! It involves gaining experience, carefully researching your college plans, becoming physically fit, and more. But, with careful planning and a whole lot of passion, you can make this career path your own! In this edition of Wild Careers, we will be exploring how the choices you make as a teen can lead to having the job of your dreams. Learners will be introduced to resources to help them find volunteer opportunities, plan out potential college courses, build up their resume, and overall prepare for a career in the zoological community. How to Become a Zookeeper is a highly interactive and engaging course for every learner that chooses to participate! This course will feature active discussion throughout so learners are encouraged to come with any questions about this field of work!
