🎉In this ongoing class, English as a Second Language class (ESL) students can come and practice English with other English Language Learners from around the world.  

⭐️We will discuss things like: 
-where I live
-hobbies
-vacations
-school life
-family
-extra curricular activities 
-favorite games/TV shows
-favorite music/singers
-pets
-and MORE

⭐️We also like to play games that will get your student speaking and communicating like:
-would you rather
-what would you do if
-Truth or Dare
-who would win in a fight
-go find (a show and tell game)

🚀There is no set curriculum to the class, but the teacher can provide visuals and sentence prompts to get the discussion moving.  Students can bring ideas, photos, or objects that they will get an opportunity to speak to the class about. The goal is to speak English as much as possible. 
Students should have reading/phonics knowledge, basic vocabulary to discuss topics listed above, and some knowledge of verb tenses. (simple present, present continuous, and simple past).




👉🏼CLASSROOM POLICIES:
-Please try to be on time. In the case of a screen sharing class, it may be difficult to help late students if they need.
-Be sure students have on shirts and bottoms (if it is a dancing/moving class).
-I don’t always mute students, but I will if the background is too noisy. Please be sure your student knows how to unmute when it is time. 

👉🏼PARENTS/CARETAKERS: 
Please be sure to stay off camera as much as possible for the comfort and safety of all learners. 

👉🏼SIBLINGS:
I can accommodate for siblings if the class is age appropriate by opening another slot, upon request. If the sibling is not enrolled in the class, please be sure they are not seen on camera. If more than one sibling is enrolled, they may share 1 device. 

👉🏼REFUNDS:
I do not often offer refunds for missed classes (unless I miss). Outschool uploads our class video after every class and students will be able to view the class later. If you must miss an ongoing class you can choose to unenroll by Sunday morning to avoid payment, but the spot may or may not be filled when ready to re-enroll. Otherwise, you can refer to the video.
