In this one time class, we will be exploring different animals and insects that are the color pink. We will of course discuss the most famous pink animal, the pig. But what about things that slither, fly, or crawl? Do they exist? Where can we find them? I will answer these questions, and many more, in class. The children will see real photos of the different animals and insects as we discuss their size, and habitats. I encourage lots of socialization in class, so bring your curiosity, questions, and knowledge as we explore pink animals and insects.

I have been teaching for the last 27 years in a variety of settings. I have worked with children 3 to 12 years of age. I have created curriculum for 3-6 year old's, tutored, been a nanny, an assistant director, assistant teacher for early learners in the school district, and taught English (ESL) online. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology. I love to find creative ways for children to learn and have fun! I believe children learn best through a variety of means including: repetition, writing, movement, creativity, socialization, fun, and a positive attitude. If I do not know the answer to a child's question, I will research it and let them know. Knowledge is a powerful tool that can create a spark for future learning and life adventures.
