In this ongoing class, we will get together and play Roblox every week. This is a fun class where learners can socialize and play the popular online game of Roblox in a safe controlled environment. Please send me your Roblox username before class so that I can add you as a friend on the app and we can get started playing right away at the beginning of class. I will need your learner added as a friend so that they can join my safe, private server. At the beginning of each class, I will ask the learners for a few suggestions as well as give a few options of games to choose from and learners will vote on which one they want to play. Depending on the number of learners, we will stick to three different games max. Please note that there are many exciting and new mini-games to choose from, and while I do my best to pick games everyone will enjoy, I cannot guarantee that each learner will be able to play the game they voted for. During the voting process, I will encourage learners to work together as a group, listen to each other, and compromise. We will spend approximately 15 minutes in each game. Roblox app and Roblox account required. If possible learners should play Roblox on a separate device (iPhone, iPad, Tablet, or another computer) from what they take their Outschool class on in order to have the best social experience possible. Please send me your child's Roblox user name after you've enrolled so I can add them as a friend.

Hey there! I'm Teacher Dani. I am a science teacher, dancer, and actress living in Vancouver, Canada. I love all things biology, and I am passionate about teaching science. I graduated in 2015 from the University of Manitoba with a BSc in Microbiology & Biology, and have been teaching online since 2019. I think it is important to have a relaxed, fun, and low pressure learning environment in which my students can laugh and learn in an easy going environment. I love applying theory to real life scenarios and my classes include lots of problem solving.
