Students will learn and practice various photography skills such as composition, lighting, camera skills, point of view, etc.  This class will challenge them to think outside of the box when it comes to subject matter.  Students will practice engaging in conversation, providing and receiving constructive feedback, and using it to help them grow.

I've been a teacher in a traditional classroom since 2002.  During that time, I have experience with pre-K through 8th grade.  To further my interest in photography, I completed the New York Institute of Photography courses and received my certificate of completion in 2006.  I've also completed several online training to strengthen my skills.  I have photographed weddings, real estate, and portraits professionally but I absolutely love photographing nature and macro shots!

Students are required to submit 1-3 photos for each class session.  Students will take photos away from class time and have them ready to submit prior to the beginning of class.  If you are attending your first class, please have your first set of photos uploaded before the start of class.
