このクラスで学べること
This class will be a live session where students will learn how to use a variety of household materials (salt, plastic wrap, and rubbing alcohol) to create a variety of special effects with watercolor paint. Students will follow along with the instructor in real-time to try out each one of these techniques and how they might use them in their own artwork. We will work through each of these methods and discuss the results we get. We will also discuss ways we might use these techniques in future artwork. As a note, I am happy to teach to single learners and I do not cancel due to low enrollment.
学習到達目標
Students will successfully try three techniques to create special effects with watercolor. They will understand the concept of a wash and observe how colors blend when using wet-on-wet technique.

Watercolors are a versatile medium and there are many special effects that can be created using simple household materials! I have created my own watercolor paintings for many years and enjoy using watercolors with my own students. This course will show students some of these special techniques, which they can then apply to their own work.
