Indulge yourself in creating the Nature. Learn drawing and various water coloring techniques. In this class students will learn watercolor painting. First we will draw and then paint. Some of the examples are Landscape, Flowers, underwater creatures, peacock and floral designs. I will teach step by step drawing and then we will start coloring. Student will learn the mixing of colors, how to use the brush and shading. I have the following classes coming up: Flowers Tulips Landscape Meadows Cherry Blossom Wood duck Mountainscape Butterfly Dolphins Christmas ornaments Flowers Design We start with an introduction. Then we start with the drawing and painting. Class will end with each student showing artwork to the class and socializing in a creative environment. We will talk about the artwork we created. There is no prior experience required to join this class. I encourage creativity and communication in my class. Camera will be focused on my art lesson. I give step by step and clear instructions.

Art is self-expression. In this class a student not only can have fun and express himself/herself through Art but it also helps with fine motor coordination, focus, following directions, listening skills, confidence and the opportunity to practice thinking creatively.

Watercolor paper pad : 9in.X12in. or larger Pencil Eraser Watercolors (prefer tubes) Two cups of water to wash brushes Paper towels or a rag to wipe the brushes A set of brushes- different sizes ( at least a flat brush no.6 and two pointed brushes no.1 and no.3 ) One plain white paper to test colors.

My name is Meena.
I am a visual artist.
I have a master's degree in Counseling Psychology. Art is my childhood passion. I have taken various courses in water coloring, oil painting, metal embossing and pottery.
I have displayed my artwork in various art shows, art councils and open studios.
I have been teaching Art for about three years.
I have listed different types of classes. I teach drawing and coloring with colored pencils and crayons, drawing and water color painting. I give step by step instructions in each class.
My goal in teaching is to give clear instructions and enhance creativity in my students.
I have twin boys in their tweens! My life is centered around my family and my artwork.
I joined Outschool in the year 2022 but only recently applied to teach at Outschool.
I look forward to meet my students in the class where they can get an outlet to their imagination and also learn different Art techniques.
