Students will learn a fun ice breaker that they can play with friends or family.
Students will learn the definition of resist and learn a simple to use and interesting water color resist technique.
Students will learn about designing an image on their paper. 
Students will achieve a sense of accomplishment at learning a new skill.
Students will finish with as many completed works of art as they're able to create others during class.
Students will be proficient in the technique and able to repeat the process on their own after class and demonstrate it to a friend. 

I've been using arts integration to connect all subjects to the arts to allow optimal student engagement and self expression for over 30 years.
I work in visual arts, theater arts, digital arts and dance to integrate curriculum. 
My teaching experience is includes working in classroom, art studios, youth shelters, correctional facilities as well as online venues.
I offer teacher trainings to university education programs in use of arts integration as well as animation.
I'm a public speaker, presenting yearly at national and local arts education conferences.
I've brought arts integration projects to schools, online and in partnership with university programs for the past decade incorporating  a broad variety of STEM topics including history, book reviews, science topics, poetry, math skills.
