The teaching of singing involves a holistic approach in terms of voice, mind, body, intellect, interests, and goals. I strive to foster confidence, creativity, and self-expression in my learners. Vocal exercises and songs are assigned to address these needs. Learners must play an active role in their voice instruction, and understand for what purpose exercises and songs are assigned in order to promote future independence as a musician. All instruction adheres to the Code of Ethics set forth by the National Association of Teachers of Singing (of which I am a member), and am committed to providing the best in vocal music education to my learners. I look forward to working with your learners in a supportive and creative environment.
