Do you have a kiddo who is passionate about videos and editing? This beginner course will be great for them if so! Learners will gain more knowledge and tips on video editing. To help them improve their skills. We will also learn creative ways that we can bring videos to life through Premiere Pro! :) **If you do not have sample videos to practice with no worries! The teacher will provide example videos before each class! Please always check the classroom tab for additional info and videos :) Teaching style: The teacher will most times show the learners the process for the editing lesson first while students watch so that they can understand and see all features first. Then students will practice the steps while receiving help from the teacher. The teacher will go back through each step to aid the students as they are practicing. I am a patient and understanding teacher. I like to make sure that students are following along, getting the help they need, while encouraging students to explore creatively. I have been using Adobe Premiere since 2014 and still absolutely love this program and I am sure your kiddo will too. Students will be able to share their screens to show their videos during class which is also good in case students need help. Week of Sep 1: Getting familiar with editing tools and video terms. Week of Sep 10: Video Tips, Transitions, and Text. Layering videos creatively! Week of Sep 17: Editing video colors such as brightness and contrast. Having fun with Masks! Week Sep 24 - June 4th: Video overlays & changing the feel of a video's time period. Week of Oct 1: Audio and music. Enhancing simple videos! Week of Oct 8: Sound effects and using sounds effectively Week of Oct 15: Creating individual video projects & receiving feedback Week of Oct 22: Finishing Video projects and viewing projects together in class. ****Learners must have Adobe Premiere Pro 2022 If your student is interested in video production and editing or just would like to learn more please join! This is course is a beginner level class* Learners will need access to the following editing resources: Adobe Premiere Pro 2022 or Adobe Premiere Pro 2020

Hi! My name is Ms. King and I specialize in Video Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop Art.
I attended the Charter High School for Architecture and Design (CHAD). After graduating from CHAD high school I enrolled at a sustainability-focused private liberal arts college. I decided to take up Communication as a major and minor in Writing and Documentary Studies.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, a Minor in Writing and Documentary Studies, a TESOL certification, and an Interior Design + Home Styling Certification.
I am an enthusiastic, energetic, and patient teacher. I have educated students of all ages and love creating exciting classes. I put my all into every class and try to make hard topics easy to understand.
I enjoy virtual classes because I can teach children all across the world in different time zones. Although some learners may be in different parts of the world, we are all united at that moment not just through technology but through learning as well!
