We will be playing freeze dance, using Valentine-themed songs. During the songs, I will add fun twists to the freeze dance game by doing things like having each child take a turn choosing the dance move we all copy, or showing us their "silliest dance" and other things to keep it interesting. Students will also get to take turns picking animals to dance like. This class is perfect for beginner ESL students as it is mainly action based and they will be able to follow along. To clarify, this is not specifically an ESL class, all students are welcome. But the structure of the class is designed so that non-verbal and ESL students with limited English can easily participate. ESL 1A and up.
All you need is room to dance!
Students will need room to move around safely. Some students may need adult supervision.
