Beginner レベル向け

Students should be able to carry basic conversations in Mandarin Chinese before taking this class including the ability to greet someone and get to know them briefly, being able to ask about family and hobbies etc. 

Class structure includes question/answer games and activities such as matching games along with conversation exchange practice between teacher/student and student/student. Videos will be provided in between classes to help with vocabulary and grammar practice. Vocabulary and grammar from previous classes will be used. 

Topics covered include:
Week 1: Days of the week
Week 2: Daily activities vocabulary
Week 3: Time of day (early morning, morning, afternoon, night)
Week 4: Combine all things learned

Writing sheets will be provided for those who wish to participate in writing select vocabulary words and sentences.

Youtube videos will be provided for extra vocabulary and grammar practice. Students are not required to have a Youtube account to view these videos.

Nihao!  We teach Mandarin Chinese to children and teens using interactive learning and teaching methods. Our teachers are either native Chinese speakers, have an advanced degree in Chinese and experience teaching, or have lived in a Chinese speaking country extensively and have experience teaching Chinese. Our teachers have a wide range of experience that match them to their respective class groups. Our courses include the use of music, technology, games, culture and learning through play. Each course is designed with age-specific targets and resources. Much research and evaluation is continually embedded into our curriculum to make it as effective and efficient as possible. There's always a way to overcome obstacles in learning, especially in language-learning and we embrace the opportunity help students overcome any obstacles they face. We love our students and we're here to help them succeed.
