In this Ongoing Phonics Course, students will review sounds and sound-spellings, read teacher-created core decodable sentences and passages, and use high-frequency words in sentences.

I believe in a very happy classroom where students feel comfortable sharing their opinions with the group. It is through learning together, we strengthen our understanding of each other. I encourage students to make personal connections with the content and with their classmates. Students will work collaboratively to read and write sentences, build words with phonetic spellings, and learn from one another. 
Students should be able to identify all letters of the alphabet in print. It would be beneficial if they can also write the letters of the alphabet.
