Homework
頻度: リクエストも承りますフィードバック: リクエストも承ります詳細: Each week learners will leave class with a new understanding of the scientific method. They will use the concepts they learn in class to create their own experiment. The homework will be to complete a section of the scientific method in order to build up to completion of their experiment.
Learners will need supplies for their chosen experiments. This is not possible to provide in advance as experiments are student led. Students will be finalizing their topic of choice by week 4. We will also be completing an experiment together in week 3. For this experiment, learners will need the following: -Empty Bottle - Funnel (that fits into the bottle) - play dough / clay - water in a beaker / glass - towels in case of mess!
Students will be designing and executing their own experiment. Parental involvement will be needed depending on the experiment the child chooses. (May need assistance with prep and safety) Teacher will guide students away from potentially harmful experiments (ie no explosions, strong acids or bases, etc). Parent involvement will be outside of live class time (homework help)
Students will be working in breakout sessions and will do basic research on the internet as a group activity, and individually. Students will be taught about scientific sources (journals) vs general sources (wikipedia)
