We will learn and play the game Forbidden Island, Adventure... If You Dare. Join a team of adventurers to find the four treasures that control the Earth's core elements; the Earth Stone, the Statue of the Wind, the Crystal of Fire and the Ocean's Chalice. You will have to work together to make decisions about how to move around the island to find each treasure. But beware the island is sinking all around you! It's a race to find the treasures and escape on a helicopter to safety as the island disappears under the ocean. This unique game has infinite possibilities for learners to make decisions and strategize the most effective moves, and it's a lot of fun!

Hello! My name is Heather and I am excited to be teaching on Outschool. I am a mom to three kids, three dogs and a turtle. I love teaching on Outschool!
I have over 10 years of experience teaching children of all ages in a variety of settings such as preschool, after-school drama and glee clubs, and online learning. I also perform in local musical theater productions and choreograph and direct children's shows. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and certifications in Childlight Yoga and Sport Yoga, and I am trained in the Mindful Schools curriculum.
