Each week, a project, reading assignment, or online activity will be provided to students. On several occasions, the instructor will recommend films pertaining to the weekly topic for students to view on their own time. While all of these activities are optional, they are highly recommended. All content will be appropriate for the age group of this class. For assigned films, parents and guardians will be notified when the film is assigned of any content that may be concerning. This will allow parents and guardians to elect whether to allow their learner to view the film.
We will be using several texts throughout this course. The instructor will provide PDFs of the text, but all text will be easily accessible on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or your local library if you would prefer to purchase or check out your own copy.
