This class is designed to look at the previously learned relationships of Algebra and Geometry that give rise to the study of Trigonometry. When students see how common ideas are redefined in the study of Trig, they will not feel overwhelmed by the use of new terminology, formulas, and "Trigonometric Identities" that appear in the course. Instead, they will see how all these ideas work together and connect the learner with many different disciplines and their applications In the real world. 
 Rather than being required to memorize the considerable amount of information that is encountered in a typical Trig class, the students will be given the tools to create these algorithms and relationships in a quality, rather than quantity curriculum. Then, as they continue their studies in the Trigonometry, Calculus, or Physics classrooms, they will be empowered to optimize their understanding of the ideas presented.
