This is the "multi-day" version of the popular "Understanding Money & Economics Using Minecraft: 7-11-Year-Olds", that will explain money, economics & business using Minecraft. (No Gameplay. The teacher will show examples from Minecraft)
In this class, a certified teacher and former banker/investment advisor will explain how money began, what an economy is, and how business works in the world, using concepts from Minecraft. 

In this class, over SIX weeks your child will learn the following:
October 12, Tuesday, Week 1 - Learn how VALUE is determined (Prices, Cost of goods & manufacturing, Supply & Demand, Trading)
October 19, Tuesday, Week 2 - Learn how BANKS keep our money safe, and how money is exchanged.
October 26, Tuesday, Week 3 - Understand what a LOAN is. (Borrowing, Interest, Credit Cards)
November 2, Tuesday, Week 4 - Learn about what a COMPANY is (Ownership, production of goods, sale of goods, employees)
November 9, Tuesday, Week 5 - Learn what a STOCK is (Investing in a company, ownership, share of profits through dividends, gains & losses)
November 16, Tuesday, Week 6 - Learn about REAL ESTATE (Purchase, renting, leasing, commodities under land)

Minecraft is a great game to teach the basics of money, trade, the economy, and business. This class does not involve any game playing of Minecraft. The teacher's Minecraft world may be used at times to illustrate concepts to the students. Again there is no game playing by the students.
