This is NOT a beginner class, Students really need to know these chords and be able to switch between them in order to get the most out of the class, to keep up, and not get frustrated. During these classes we will get more familiar with the strumming patterns and how to play songs. Your child does needs to know how to play the four basic chords C, A minor, F, Em, and G, in order to take this course. You can learn something one day and be able to play it right away. I teach PreK-5th grade general music and art, This including learning pitched and non pitched instruments, music history, movement, and ukulele.
