In this course, students will receive an LGBT+ history lesson as it pertains to David Rose from Schitts Creek as a modern, balanced character. I will teach by lecturing mostly, though we will watch clips from Schitts Creek and materials from the past. I have taken classes in LGBT+ issues, including gender and sexuality classes, crucial conversations, literature studies of LGBT+ authors, and also classes in screenwriting and journalism as they relate to marginalized communities in a political science class.
