In this exciting travel camp we will be traveling to five other continents to see some glimpses of well-known cities on each continent. We will look at the music, food, language, most popular holiday, and geography of each city.
Each week we will start with a warm welcome, move to a fun presentation of the cities we're "visiting," and end with a discussion of our favorite aspects of the trip. Which cities were our favorites? Where would we most like to visit in person? What special...Students will gain an appreciation for traveling and visiting new places.
I have taught history and government in both Canada and the United States, have taught ancient history, and have studied world history as well. I also spent five years living Toronto, one of the world's most multi-cultural cities. I have a great appreciation for other countries and cultures, and am excited to help students gain an appreciation for traveling and visiting new places.
