週1時間. For homework on Fridays, your child will have opportunities to practice beyond our classroom settings. Families are expected to: 1. Take a picture or scan homework so that your teacher could view it closer and clearer. 2. Save your document to get ready for upload. 3. Log on to the Outschool website. 4. Message Teacher Ty through your child's name as this is a private conversation. If you upload to the CLASS, it is not a private conversation. Do not respond to any CLASSROOM emails. The classroom emails are used to communicate from teacher to class as a whole and to upload classwork and homework. Any replies in the classroom will be deleted immediately. 5. Find the purple paperclip. Click the paperclip to find your child's homework then upload. 6. Press SEND **If you need help, try at least 3 times before contacting your teacher for support.** All homework is due Sunday 9pm your time.

This is a full curriculum which includes daily practices for: word families, CVC word recognition, handwriting practice, introduction to reading & Reading Comprehension, understanding math concepts addition, subtraction 1 & 2 digits horizontal and verticle.

Monday:  Learners will be introduced to the following skills:  PRE-READING SKILLS (Beginning, middle, ending sounds), cvc words, sight words and blended letters.

 

Tuesday:  Learners will be introduced to the following skills:  READING & WRITING (formation, case, size, and spacing). Although speed/pacing is the last skill to practice, I think that it is important to introduce it now so that they'll be ready by the end of the year.  

 

Wednesday:  Learners will be introduced to the following skills:  MATH KNOWLEDGE (number line & single digit) horizontal & vertical

 

Thursday:  Learners will be introduced to the following skills:  MATH KNOWLEDGE (number line, single digit) horizontal & vertical

 

Friday:  Upload your homework on Sunday by 9pm your time.

  1:  Kindergarten Sight Word List.  Each week there are 8 words to read.  Keep this list close and practice 5 days a week.  This will build on their current vocabulary skills.    2:  Writing: Practice writing on the worksheets.
