Vocabulary Quizzes: - Administer short quizzes or flashcard sessions to assess their knowledge of ASL signs for various topics, such as numbers, animals, or food. 3. Performance Assessments: - Students will participate in an ASL song at the end of each session, using the learned vocabulary. 4. In this ASL class for children aged 7-10, I aim to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience that covers basic ASL vocabulary within a specific topic. In this class we will look at ASL Numbers, Greetings, Conversations, Time, and Stories. We always end with a cumulative review and discuss seasonal signs. Each week, the class will include a mix of live sessions, video materials, games, and interactive discussions, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience. At the end of the program, the students will have a solid foundation in basic ASL, covering the outlined topics and the added summer-themed words.

Teaching Method:
My teaching approach is highly interactive and engaging. I focus on Science of Reading strategies with a structured literacy approach. 1. Customized Reading Materials: Tailored reading materials and exercises.
2. Storytelling: Use of engaging stories and narratives.
3. Interactive Games: Fun and educational games to reinforce learning.
4. Visual Aids: Utilization of images, charts, and videos to enhance understanding.
5. Discussion: Encouraging learners to share thoughts and questions.
6. Reviews: Regular informal assessments to track progress.

Learner Interaction:
Learners will have ample opportunities to interact with me throughout the class. Interaction methods may include:

1. Discussion: Engaging in conversations about the reading material.
2. Interactive Games: Playing games to reinforce concepts.
3. Singing & Signing: Singing songs related to the topic & vocabulary words.
4. Show and Tell: Encouraging learners to share their thoughts and stories.
