Welcome to this Time for German Christmas Special! You do not need to know any German in order to take part in this fun festive-themed lesson. The students will learn 12 items of Christmas related vocabulary such as 'Christmas Tree', 'Gift' and 'Reindeer', including more German-themed items such as 'Lebkuchen' and 'Stollen'. Students will also learn and sing/say the first verse of traditional German Christmas song 'O Tannenbaum' (O Christmas Tree).
I am an Award Winning Fully Qualified Elementary/Primary School Teacher and German Specialist and I have 9 years teaching experience. I was a senior teacher up until March 2020, giving staff appraisals and leading school meetings. I was a school lead in co-operative learning for all subjects, employing co-operative learning strategies and techniques to make my lessons more engaging, fun and co-operative.

Learners can either simply click on the link or enter the code onto the Nearpod website. They do not need a Nearpod account for this.
