This science course for third graders is comprehensive, engaging, and fun. Each lesson centers around a unique topic related to either physical, earth, or life science. We start every meeting with an interactive digital presentation to introduce the topic and then proceed to student centered work, with a variety of activities that will foster motivation. Experiments and stem projects will make learners excited to learn about the topics. Students will be encouraged to think like scientists and cultivate their curiosity. They will apply the scientific method, work collaboratively with partners to solve problems, participate in class discussions and more. All reading materials and handouts will be provided. Other optional resources will help learners expand on the topics after the lessons, including homework, quizzes, videos and digital task cards. This course has been created using as a reference: Next Generation Science Standards and https://www.cpalms.org/public/search/Standard We welcome learners who wish to join at any point during the program! Our supportive environment ensures a smooth transition, so new learners won’t feel left behind. We provide additional guidance to help them catch up and fully engage with the material. Plus, since the program restarts upon completion, every learner will have the opportunity to experience the full curriculum.
