In this one-time class, I will read "There Was a Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow!" by Lucille Colandro. I will ask students comprehension questions before, during, and after the story. Students will have several opportunities to share their thoughts and opinions during class. Then we will make a picture of ourselves swallowing some snow! An example of this craft is in the class picture. Please feel free to use the optional PDF as a template to cut out the shapes onto construction paper, or make your own shapes prior to class. If you do not have access to a printer you can also trace the shapes onto a piece of paper that is placed over the top of a computer screen. **Please have your child in a quiet learning environment so they can remain unmuted during class. I try to leave all students unmuted unless there is a lot of background noise.
