What's included

Homework
1-2 hours per week. Students will be given a monologue to work on and memorize outside of class. They will be short and given 2 weeks before performance day.
Grading
Students will be able to perform the piece they worked on.

🎭 C O U R S E   O U T L I N E 🎭
- During each class, I will go over specific topics and allow for time for the learner to ask questions and perform. We start every class with a body, voice, and face warm up, fun game, and "get to know you" questions before diving into acting practice! 

🎭 S C H E D U L E 🎭
-Week 1: We will discuss different acting methods and practice new improv skills.
-Week 2: We will discuss Shakespeare, discuss the old English language and how to read it, and practice some Shakespeare.
-Week 3: We will continue working on Shakespeare and more advanced older pieces of acting.
-Week 4: We will discuss and practice popular modern-day monologues and talk about the methods we can use with them.
-Week 5: We will continue going over advanced methods and monologues.
-Week 6: Students will select a monologue to memorize and rehearse. We will perform these during the last week of class.
-Week 7: We will practice our monologues and give feedback and ideas to each other.
-Week 8: Students will perform their monologues. We will spend the rest of the class playing fun improv games!

-Performed in multiple shows with experience in singing, dancing, and technical design

We will be practicing scenes and monologues from popular movies that may have to do with relationships, death, and popularity.
