Gain confidence in sharing opinions, listening to others' opinions, being respectful of others' opinions, discussing the Penderwicks together, and learning how to form ideas and what was learned from the book into a short book report.

The Penderwicks series by Jeanne Birdsall is my all time favourite book series! I have read the whole series and some of the books I have re-read a few times: therefore, I am the perfect person to do a book club for this book because I can share my love of this book and author with others.

Students will be expected to read the book (or if they have read the book in the past, then to skim through the chapters that will be discussed each week; or even listen to the book on audio). Students will also learn how to write a short book report to which will be read out loud during the last class (optionally), and as a class, we will share feedback (or they can message me it for feedback).
