Learning Goals:
Understand the role of Magic E in changing short vowel sounds to long vowel sounds
Identify words that contain Magic E and practice reading them
Develop phonemic awareness through interactive online games and activities
Enhance early reading skills by applying the Magic E rule to various words

Holly McRoberts, a licensed special education teacher and experienced phonics instructor, will lead this magical online class. With a passion for teaching and a creative approach to learning, Holly has helped countless young learners develop their reading skills and build a strong foundation in phonics.

ADHD: Frequent transitions, interactive activities, and clear instructions to maintain engagement and focus.
Dyslexia: Visual aids, interactive tools, and a paced class structure to reinforce concepts and make learning enjoyable.

Students should know the letter sounds of the alphabet. We'll review vowels and the 2 different sounds they make. 

We will watch "Super E" by Mark Pencil on YouTube. Students will use this as a guide to remember the rule AND then be given chances to practice and explain the rule! (I will provide screen sharing- no students will be expected to use their own account).
