The Karaoke Krew is a warm and inviting space for performers to share music, grow into their talents, get positive feedback, and feel comfortable on the virtual stage.  It is encouraged that singers come regularly and practice outside of class in order to learn and grow as performers and see improvement.

Since 2002 I've performed as a vocalist and recorded professionally and have enjoyed teaching voice and piano to children and adults for over 20 years. Originally from MD,  I received my Bachelor's degree in Music at George Washington University and my Master's Degree in Vocal Performance at Catholic University of America in Washington DC. 

It is my pleasure to empower students to develop self-esteem, confidence, and discipline as they set goals for themselves. I enjoy helping students to discover who they are through their innate abilities to THINK, CREATE, and PERFORM. I motivate and embrace each student’s originality as musicians and performers while helping them improve and have fun!

I offer both group and private lessons, separated by skill level, for voice, piano and music theory. Students achieve personal goals through technical development while honing their craft with focus and confidence. Students will learn to work productively in their practice so that they become better musicians, and will be empowered to set goals and develop self-esteem, confidence, and discipline.

Students should practice assigned vocal exercises at least 3-4 times a week. Students should apply performance notes from class in their practice outside of class.
