In this ongoing class, once a week students will learn various painting skills and create a simple scenic painting. Students will learn how to hold a paint brush, the importance of rinsing and drying brushes, and different brush strokes depending on the painting. I will help build student confidence in painting and help them enjoy the wonderful art of painting. 8 x 11 Acrylic paper or heavy cardstock for painting (may also choose to paint on a canvas or copy paper)
Various Paint Brushes (I will work with what you have however the following are recommend):
-fine tip –round brush
-medium or large flat brush

Cup of water
Paper Towel, napkin or rag for drying brushes
