In this learner-directed course, I will guide your student as they learn piano using Faber and Faber's Piano Adventures method. Learners will get one-on-one lessons with me as they learn songs from their lesson books and new music theory topics in each lesson. I encourage creativity during their lessons, so along with learning to play the songs as written in their books, we will invent new challenging ways to play them and they will exercise their creativity as they compose their own songs. We will cover topics such as repeats, musical phrasing, different hand positions, and dynamics.
