Disclaimer for parents:
For the "Door of the Eye" lesson, we will talk about certain images that are not good for our eyes to see.  This includes guarding our eyes from movies or t.v. shows that contain scary or graphic scenes that may give us nightmares (i.e. monsters, aliens, war, weapons, etc), as well as guarding our eyes from looking at the private body parts of others (i.e. in movies or in person).  Similarly, for the "Door of Touch," we will also briefly discuss that it is not good to touch others or be touched inappropriately (i.e. in private areas on our body that our swimsuit covers).  Our bodies are private and only certain people are allowed to touch these areas (i.e. caregiver bathing/changing a child and doctors).  These particular lessons provide a great opportunity for parents to continue the conversation with their learner(s), encouraging them to speak up if they are ever touched inappropriately.
