I am a TED speaker and national school assembly presenter. I have taught public speaking and communication classes in traditional schools and online classes for more than 30 years. I am a seasoned speech coach and speech/debate competition judge. I use games, conversation, role-playing, as well as specific skill practice and strategies with tips on PowerPoint slides developed from a public speaking curriculum I created that is fun and highly interactive for all participants.

Previous public speaking experience is helpful, but background knowledge and skills are not required to participate in this camp. This camp provides opportunities for all speakers to gain confidence as they practice new skills and receive encouragement in a safe and positive environment with an experienced public speaking teacher and speech coach.

This 3-day camp is designed for teens to strengthen public speaking skills. Resources such as an outline help guide teens in speech preparation. Although conversation is encouraged, the camp is not designed to teach English speaking skills.
保護者へのお知らせ
The creation of this public speaking 3-day camp was inspired by my public speaking students who love public speaking and wanted to learn how to create a TED talk. As a TED speaker and school assembly presenter, I am familiar with the TED talk model and created a class that provides teens with guidance to create a meaningful speech. I created a speech outline for teens that helps them organize a TED talk or motivational speech. Many teens discover public speaking courage they did not know was within them. The only way to strengthen public speaking confidence is to practice public speaking. I create a safe, encouraging environment for teens to strengthen their public speaking skills.
受講の前提条件
Prior public speaking experience is not required to take part in this public speaking camp. Participants need basic English speaking and writing skills. Bring your enthusiasm to practice new skills and desire to give a terrific speech.
