このクラスで学べること
Each class a dance video will be posted. Class can be taken at anytime throughout the week and as many times as the learner would like. We will being our class with a Tap warm up where learners will learn basic Tap dance and rhythm steps. We will work on rhythm and syncopation by using our heels and toes. We will work on various dance combinations each week and learn a new Tap step! Tap shoes are not necessary for this class, a clean pair of sneakers work just fine! Class 1 - Hop Class 2 - Leap Class 3 - Jump Class 4 - Ball Change Class 5 - Flap Class 6 - Grapevine Class 7 - Single Heel Stand Class 8 - Double Heel Stand Class 9 - Cramp Roll Class 10 - Pivot Turn What’s included in this class: • Movements that will work on basic motor skills • Concepts of coordination and musicality • Learning patterns for growing minds and engaging rhythm games • Tap technique will be taught through upbeat music • Dancers will create percussion with their toe and heel taps • Various weekly assignments What will your child gain: • Confidence • A creative outlet • Exercise! • Cognitive development • Discipline • Perseverance

Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in these online dance classes, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself.

Hello! I’m Miss Lauren and am a performer, educator, choreographer and former dance studio owner in Milton, VT. I'm a homeschooling mom to my two boys for the past 5 years and love teaching Math and English!
I am trained in various styles of dance including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Acrobatics and hold a Bachelors Degree in Dance. I am also a professional for Dancing with the Stars Burlington and have graced the Flynn stage with my performance in 2019 and guest performance in 2022.
I provide wholesome dance classes where movement and music selection is always age appropriate. My main focus is to create a fun and energetic learning environment allowing kids to express themselves! I have been instructing children of all ages for 18 years and have loved every minute of it!
When not dancing, I can be found spending time with my husband and two boys. Dancing has always been my number one love and passion and is the fuel for my soul! I can’t wait to see you in my class! Now let’s get moving!
Please note: Transfer request can be accommodated if requested a least 24 hours before the section begins. This allows time to fill the spot in class that your child was holding. I also try to respond to messages within 48 hours.レビュー
