Students will learn essential transportation vocabulary and grammar which will be presented during class and practiced during class using class activities and games such as matching games. Conversational exchanges will be between both student-student and teacher-student. Previous vocabulary and grammar learned will be implemented as well. Vidoes, flashcards and comprehension quizzes may be provided as needed and students are expected to review in between classes using the provided materials or their own methods. Writing sheets and videos showing how to write some of the vocabulary and sentences will be provided for those who wish to participate in the writing portion of the class. The schedule will be as follows: Week 1: Common transportation vocabulary Week 2: Asking someone how they will go somewehere Week 3: More transportation vocabulary Week 4: Combining all things learned

Nihao! We teach Mandarin Chinese to children and teens using interactive learning and teaching methods. Our teachers are either native Chinese speakers, have an advanced degree in Chinese and experience teaching, or have lived in a Chinese speaking country extensively and have experience teaching Chinese. Our teachers have a wide range of experience that match them to their respective class groups. Our courses include the use of music, technology, games, culture and learning through play. Each course is designed with age-specific targets and resources. Much research and evaluation is continually embedded into our curriculum to make it as effective and efficient as possible. There's always a way to overcome obstacles in learning, especially in language-learning and we embrace the opportunity help students overcome any obstacles they face.
