Students will learn to enjoy writing with the help of their favorite Mario characters. They will learn beginning techniques like writing descriptions, point of view, and character driven stories. Since this is a beginner writing class, students will not be graded on their writing skills. Instead, the purpose of this class is to let them dip their toes into creative writing and have fun.

I received my minor in creative writing from Indiana University Northwest. During my time there, I took many writing workshops and honed my skills. Several of my short stories have been published in independent zines. I also have experience with writing and revising a novel. I am currently a mentee for the program Avengers of Colour 2020 where I am learning from a published writer even more about writing craft. I also am very knowledgeable about the writing industry and what it takes to improve one's creative writing.
