このクラスで学べること
During this summer baking camp, students will learn to create a variety of summery treats! We will meet 3 times during the week-long camp, and we will make 1 to 2 different recipes each meeting. This class includes a cook-along demonstration, to help guide the bakers! A week before the camp begins, required materials and ingredients will be posted to the classroom (students who join after this one-week time frame will be emailed this information). A reminder list of materials and ingredients...
Students will learn how to properly measure ingredients, what mise en place is, and how to use certain kitchen equipment and utensils while preparing tasty recipes.
Recipe cards will be provided to students, it is recommended that these are printed out so the students can easily follow along during the class.
Students will be operating ovens, blenders, and potentially knives/zesters. Depending on your student's experience and comfort level in the kitchen, parental guidance is recommended. If parents do assist during the class, they need to remain off camera! Recipes being taught also include ingredients that contain wheat, dairy, and egg allergens. Please feel free to alter the recipes however you need!
