Do you want to learn to sing riffs and runs like your favourite pop artists - Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Alicia Keys? In this 2 day intensive workshop, singers will be guided through exercises and scale work that will give them the tools to begin improvising. Singers are invited to perform a song on the second day. This is a positive and safe space for singers to explore their instrument and take risks with their voice. Day 1: Welcome and Introductions Guided Vocal Warmup Exercises for developing riffs and runs using the metronome Learning the notes of the pentatonic scale Learn some classic riffs/runs from our favourite artists Guided Improv with backing tracks Day 2: Guided Vocal Warmup Exercises for developing riffs and runs using the metronome Review the notes of the pentatonic scale Learn some classic riffs/runs from our favourite artists Discussion - when to add improvisation into a song Performances - students are invited to perform a song of their choice incorporating their new improvisation skills

Just before the pandemic, I was traveling and developing new skills including cooking gourmet vegetarian food, managing a kitchen, managing social media pages, video editing as well as completing my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course.
